I broke the story yesterday that masked ICE agents (not DOJ) were removing items including a personal computer from the home of Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who shot Renee Good. I have yet to see a single news outlet cover this or an elected official even acknowledge it.
NEW: These are ICE agents removing evidence from the shooter's home. They are not DOJ, they are Jonathan Ross's friends and coworkers, not DOJ.

So yes: abolish ICE. I am glad that call is becoming more common! But then build on what is being revealed by this open violence to be open to abolishing ALL systems of dominating violence. Prisons and policing are doing the same thing, just more cleanly and so it seems “legal.” Still domination.

I have two thoughts today. The first is this: we are seeing people doing violence with glee and glorifying it. This is terrible! But the reality is that many other political leaders, even if they decry open violence, still support inherently violent practices of detention and deportation. +
