There is no political, economic or environmental case for even pretending to consider Northern Gateway pipeline.
Mark Carney has given a huge with to Danielle Smith while reviving the environmental conflicts of Stephen Harper.
This is a huge mistake.

Prime Minister Mark Carney’s success in his first year has been to successfully convey an image of being the “smartest guy in the room.”

Americans are overwhelmingly rejecting President Donald Trump’s insistence that prices are dropping and inflation is barely a factor—a disconnect that drags down his standing on the economy, a new poll finds.
Scathing Poll Shows How Little Americans Are Buying Trump’s Claims About Prices
Most Americans say Trump describes inflation as better than it really is, including four in 10 Republicans.

A reminder of more of Fraud’s dictatorial tendencies.
Ford walked out of meeting with Education Minister Lecce and Labour Ministers while working on an alleged dictatorship with a #Notwithstandingclause that would've fined each striking worker $4,000 a day and dismantled collective bargaining across Canada. #cdnpoli

Ontario’s electoral map is outdated, but the problem goes deeper. First past the post turns riding boundaries into political weapons.

Proportional representation would make every vote count equally and give Ontario fair results that reflect how people actually voted.

Who has $5000 to give to a political party in Ontario?

Spoiler: It's not people who can't pay their rent.

As Democracy Watch said in a statement, Ford's government is creating a system that "allows rich donors to buy even more influence..."

Doug Ford’s increase to donation limits advantages his party, but making the per-vote subsidy permanent is the right thing to do
The Doug Ford's decision to raise the amount individuals can donate to a political party to $5000 gives wealthy Ontarians a bigger influence over politics.

The turmoil on BC’s right shows how first past the post traps different voices in one party just to stay competitive.

Proportional representation would let every part of the political spectrum stand on its own and be represented fairly.

Doug Ford’s donors give millions. Doug Ford’s friends get millions. All while his party wins “majorities” with only 40% of the vote.

When power is handed to a minority, accountability disappears.

It is time for proportional representation in Ontario.

Reform UK could win a majority government with only 30 percent of the vote.

That is how distorted UK democracy has become under first past the post. Canada should take note.

Proportional representation means real majority rule. It is time to demand change
