Since several folks have complained to me recently about ChatGPT's sycophantic tone, I figured it's time for that PSA again:

🤯 YOU CAN CHANGE CHATGPT'S TONE. 🤯

I recommend "Efficient" - that's the one I use.

Click, click, done.

Recommendations for peer reviewed scholarship—not journalistic pieces—on impacts (broadly construed) of AI in the Global South?

(Interestingly, I went through the entire TOC of a journal devoted to “critical” stances in the field and came up empty.)

I sat down wrong into chair at the dinner table. I couldn't get up or move for a good 10 minutes. I spent the rest of the evening either lying on the floor, or crawling on all fours. 🤦‍♂️
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

@sramsay2.bsky.social, I'm reading a book chapter which quotes a 2017 book which multi-quotes a no-longer-existant blog post by you where you talk about Type 1 and Type 2 DH. Do you have a copy of this somewhere? If so, would you be willing to share it with me?

I'm doing a thread of everything I've published this year, but amassing everything I'm struck by how fast the Trump admin moved to wreck the country. I figured that they would move a bit more slowly breaking everything, but no, 2025 was the year of the crowbar and the wrecking ball.

(Plz boost!)
