How much are these torture facilities costing U.S. taxpayers per day to operate? How many employees? How much are the American people paying for substandard care? We should know how much of our hard-earned money is being stolen to fund atrocities against our will.
Top five largest ICE facilities in the U.S. are:
- Camp East Montana (El Paso, TX): 2,777 detainees
- Adams County Correctional (Natchez, MS): 2,214
- Stewart Detention (Lumpkin, GA): 2,095
- Adelanto IPC (Adelanto, CA): 1,756
- South Texas IPC (Pearsall, TX): 1755

This story is nuts.

I know people are closely following what's going on the US and the horrors of ICE, but do you know how Canada is quickly and quietly is growing its deportation machinery?

Canada plans to increase deportations by 25 percent over the next two years. 25 PERCENT!!!

Here are 5 other things to know:

It's important to note that this is costing U.S. taxpayers approximately 13 Million $ per day. And that's based on the median $200 per day for detaining a human being. Some torture centers charge more.

This number doesn't include the cost of deportation flights or deals with 3rd countries.
After more than two months with no updates, ICE has finally released new detention statistics.

ICE reports a total of 65,135 detainees as of Nov. 16, 2025.

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we remember the bright and courageous trans people whose lives were stolen by hatred. Their absence is felt across our city.

We will honor them by building a New York where every trans person can live safely, fully and freely.

Scoop: The Trump administration has quietly erased trans people, people of color and to some extent, the idea that some groups have more or different difficulties than others from the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers.

Why? Unclear! They wouldn’t tell me.
Trans people and people of color have been quietly erased from national caregiving plan
The decision ignores the stark reality that underserved communities experience greater negative impacts from caregiving, from financial hardships to worse health outcomes, advocates say.

This year Transgender Day of Remembrance is especially meaningful for me. Last year I had the honor of helping care for my friend Mel towards the end of their illness.

We mourn. We cherish. We remember.

All of us are sacred. Each of us is loved.

DC absolutely needs statehood so that the people who live there aren't ruled by goons they never elected. A genuine ongoing scandal and absolute betrayal of the principles of the country.
These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.
