“Firekeeper’s Daughter”. I read an interview with Angeline Boulley & realized I must read more. I took an embarrassing amount of time to get underway. Then I was in...fascinated and hooked. This story, most importantly to me, had enormous and generous heart. also funny & horrifying. it has a sequel!

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

A 39yo Black man Torrence Medley was found hanging from a tree at Brookfield Hills Golf Course on Nov 13. Police ruled it a suicide. His family is demanding proof and transparency. Police have provided neither.

It is unfathomable that the USG lawyers would sign off on a no-survivors boat strike (no get of jail free card).

There's clear precedent dating back to World War II trial of Germans for that very act, which lawyers know well.
