Grateful for the good Canada brings and committed to ensuring all Canadians share in these benefits. Grounded in love for my family and my dogs. Painter inspired by the beauty of egg tempera and life’s simple joys
Glad to see so many people in advance polling day. We have a right that many do not. Don’t take it for granted

Food for thought for my fellow Canadians, literally. In addition to the general "buy local" advice, I'd be cautious about how good the food safety reporting network is in the US these days. I'm not saying US food is suddenly unsafe, but this is going to be another reason to buy Canadian for me.

Canadian knitters and crocheters:

Canada has several excellent yarn companies, local yarn shops, and indie dyers. Check labels before you buy so we can support Canadian businesses and yarn producers. 🧶 🇨🇦

Time to channel your grandparents resilience from WW2. This upcoming trade war is going to hurt, but we will survive. We can’t capitulate to imperialistic countries. Give him an inch, Trump will take the house. Lots of Canadian options out there.

I really hope the bird flu situation in the states gets resolved soon. Otherwise egg prices won’t go down and trump will need to invade a country to get a big enough distraction.

Tomorrow will be one week of the Drama Llama in Chief. I don’t know what the relationship between our two countries will be in 4 years. There is some real damage being done. I hope it can get back to a better footing.
