Food for thought for my fellow Canadians, literally. In addition to the general "buy local" advice, I'd be cautious about how good the food safety reporting network is in the US these days. I'm not saying US food is suddenly unsafe, but this is going to be another reason to buy Canadian for me.

I really hope the bird flu situation in the states gets resolved soon. Otherwise egg prices won’t go down and trump will need to invade a country to get a big enough distraction.

Tomorrow will be one week of the Drama Llama in Chief. I don’t know what the relationship between our two countries will be in 4 years. There is some real damage being done. I hope it can get back to a better footing.
