The global space economy is still dominated by America. But China is making gains in other high-tech industries, and its commercial space sector shares advantages with other high-tech sectors. It is probably a matter of when, not if, China will catch up

This is so very sad.
A few days ago, Fox News was whining about ICE agents getting heckled at a Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis.

Meanwhile, in the town of Willmar, ICE agents had lunch at a Mexican restaurant, waited until it closed, then confronted and arrested three workers as they left.

We did this at several mosques in Seattle after 9/11.
Talked to a Somali man today who said his mosque last night was surrounded by neighbors ready to protect them against ICE if needed. Made me feel proud to live in this city.

If you are in Seattle, please go patronize this store because this is amazing content/promo 😂 (laughing to keep from crying, and I do kind of low-key want that orange spider plant I have never seen that before)

These are DHS agents not MPD according to their uniforms. What federal crime was the dancing fox reasonably suspected of?
Outside of the Bishop Henry Whipple Building in Minneapolis a person dancing in a fox costume is arrested by the MPD. Protests have been consistent outside of this building since the ramped up ICE presence.

Being alone in complete darkness is an absolute living nightmare for most humans

When you actually experience it regularly in remote woodland, you appreciate it is for most living things, & learn to relax & even enjoy the solitude

I'm not sure where this idea comes from that ICE and Border Patrol couldn't hack it in the "real" military. The data does not support this; in fact both of these agencies recruit heavily from the military. A very large number of Border Patrol agents and Deportation Officers are former infantry.

Viking ship found near ... Copenhagen.
600-year-old #Viking #shipwreck is the largest of its kind. The medieval ‘cog’ was nearly 92 feet long and featured castles on its bow and stern.
