He/Him. By night, I'm a writer working on my novel when I'm not caught up in life. Expect excerpts and some stories. Not on X and ain't interested. I'm open to DMs.

Gonna continue to be radio silent here for a bit since I'm quietly working on a few personal and professional things this summer, but I think I'll have some good updates on the other side.
Research is the secret sauce that fills out your writing and makes it go down easier. It's not prose or plotting, which are also big ingredients, but research helps your writing feel more real.

We’re at 100 backers and almost 20% funded! We’ll reprint Volume 1 alongside Volume 2 if we hit our goal, and you can get them together as a bundle pledge.

We also have retailer packs for any stores out there!

It's striking how much Russian forces failed to learn from their wars in Chechnya, which led to them not applying those lessons against the Chechens, thankfully, though seemingly western defense analysts forgot these lessons too.

I'll spool this out into a thread later, when I have the time.

This is some of the most common sights - a person reading a book because now protests are our regular daily task and we need to incorporate our lives into it.

Day 125 of daily protests in Georgia.

While we need to forge new political approaches and methods of resistance, we are again out today, because we simply won’t stop - we cannot. This is our endgame, the issue of our existence as a nation, and our life here or lifetime emigration at best. 1/2

We have protestors against genocide getting snatched off the street and deported and while billionaires buy the media, but let me take a moment to spotlight a true tragedy, Idaho banning truck nuts.

This is how civil wars start.

If you lock yourself in a room and avoid everyone on April Fool's Day, you avoid being fooled, like that guy in Final Destination who locked himself away to cheat death.

AI disruption: "programmers and writers: occupations where the job from start to finish is as close as possible to what AI excels at: nice, clean, linear and sequential tasks, exam-style questions and essay assignments. both jobs also have high rates of contracting or freelancing."

Help us convince the UK government to uphold the law on copyright which Meta has ignored in order to use the illegally shared work of thousands of writers, without asking permission and without payment, with the explicitly stated aim of making money for themselves.

Costco is a much better, with a bigger selection ... and actually supports by valuing diversity and hiring our people.

Choose the red pill, take the spill.
Target’s stock plummeted by ~ $27.27 per share by the end of February, erasing about $12.4 billion in market value.

The drop came on Feb. 28, the designated economic blackout day, and coincided with mounting backlash over the retailer’s decision to abandon its DEI commitments.

I don't want to be the partypooper on piracy, but writers need to be as angry about piracy without permission as they are about LLMs. Both are threats to the trade.

47% of voters approve of President Trump’s performance, matching his last highest approval rating. 44% think the country is on the right track, the highest percentage in over 20 years.

Are we close to being able to ask whether the average voter can identify what the "right track" is anymore?

At first I thought it just inspired fight clubs at every academic institution I'd ever been in, but Fight Club really did predict the culture now, down to the toxic manosphere, popularity cults, and accelerationism, huh?
