Im Max Planck Insititut für empirische Ästhetik (ja, das gibt es wirklich) wurden im vergangenen Jahr einige Studien zur Musikwahrnehmung durchgeführt. Insbesondere wurde untersucht, welche Passagen und welche Stimmen Menschen als "Schön" empfanden. Zwei zentrale Erkenntnisse: Die befragten Personen konnten sehr genau und nachvollziehbar begründen, warum sie etwas schön fanden. Außerdem ist das Schönheitsempfinden subjektiv - inwieweit die Aussagen der Befragten sich objektiv messen ließen, spielte nur eine untergeordnete Rolle.
