I’m going to urge caution with the “targeted killing” language here. DHS has been clearly filming and IDing observers, and we’ve all assumed they’re making some kind of list of us. If Pretti had been regularly observing in any capacity, there’s a decent chance he’d been documented.

Gamergate (and other similar movements) was extremely successful in convincing a lot of men to hate women, while simultaneously convincing a bunch of idiots that was not it's purpose at all.
