More generally, cis narratives on trans people are pretty much entirely framed as being aspirational. Chasing the insurmountable goal of Being A Real [gender]. It's fucking exhausting to listen to. We have jobs and stuff you know. At some point (can be surprisingly early!) transition is old news.
