I’m late to this, but the DC #IndyCar race is a terrible idea that would damage the series’ reputation and render it unsupportable to a big chunk of the fan base, especially a lot of the younger fans who have come in over the last few years.

The soldiers are from the 11th Airborne Division, based at Joint Base Elmendorf--Richardson, one of the Army's premier infantry formations.
