Today, the California coast we cherish and the delicate ocean ecosystems just beyond it face a renewed threat from offshore drilling. We oppose the Trump Administrationβs 5-year oil and gas leasing program and will continue to defend our coastline, wildlife, economy, and health from this threat.

The desert is starting to show swaths of "fall colors" due to the ocotillos which got a lot of monsoon rains last month and are now turning yellow on the desert floor and bajadas of Anza-Borrego Desert. Looking towards Sunset Mountain and the Glorietta Canyon bajada (Photo: Sicco Rood).
