So the FDA is removing the black box warning for hormone replacement therapies for menopause. This is a good thing, but the messaging around it has been painful to watch, a mix of self-aggrandizement and misplaced blame and missed opportunity. (1/2)

Pretty cool that voting Democrat is functionally the same thing as voting for the other party. @schumer.senate.gov - your unerring political instinct to fail the people who voted for you makes me think it must be intentional. Literally why would anyone vote for your party at this point.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

Kudos for mentioning the bottom line though!

Is anyone else kind of unsettled that our country has blown up over 5 dozen people in the open water and even our own congress members don't have access to the evidence supporting the dubious legal justifications for this? Seems bad.
