Looks perfidy normal to me.
More gold-toned signage has been added to the White House exterior.

Sights today along the Eagle Creek Trail:

I chatted with a neighbor as he finished picking up 4 bags worth of trash along the north-side of the causeway. Someone has posted a series colorful signs against LEAP while, nearby, two “Citizens” trucks were parked at the water intake tower. #IndyLeap

An extremely prescient question…
Today in 1975, a USAF board of inquiry ruled 38-year-old Maj. Harold Hering, a decorated pilot with 20 years of service, be discharged because two years earlier—during ICBM combat crew training at Vandenberg AFB—he asked how he would know a launch order was lawful and came from a rational president.

Interesting - This article mentions that INDOT has applied to the Federal Highway Admin for permission to charge tolls on I-70.
The number of nixed road and bridge plans is rising, the Indiana Department of Transportation told state lawmakers on Monday, citing “funding constraints.” @indianacapitalchronicle.com
INDOT cancels, postpones projects
The agency also confirmed its federal tolling application.

Because of all the awful news, I took advantage of today’s mild, sunny weather to get outside and calm my mind with a bike ride. I paused along the trail to photograph this red shoulder hawk with my iPhone.

Take care of yourselves.

Left unsaid in this sad story is that Mr West was standing outside only about a mile from an international airport when he was struck. Some asshole was firing a gun into the air near passenger jets! Depending on firing angle, bullets can travel miles. I’m glad Mr West wasn’t seriously injured.

I ran across a box in our garage with 30 years worth of our family’s old cell phones. In the upper left is our very first cell phone which we purchased 1995 when my wife was pregnant with our oldest daughter - who, btw, still pines for the pink moto razr flip-phone from her high school days.

Saw this today biking out the north gate at Eagle Creek Park. The 71st street pedestrian path footbridge near the gate collapsed and is closed. How did this happen? Are other, similar, foot bridges in the park and along 71st street safe to walk and ride on?

So not only does Citizen Energy intend to steal from Indianapolis' drinking water (Eagle Creek Reservoir) and sell it up north to Lebanon's LEAP project, but Lebanon then plans to pipe that contaminated industrial waste back to Eagle Creek's bird sanctuary. Here is a recent story from WRTV.
Lebanon Utilities confirms it is surveying areas for a pipeline that would pump wastewater from Lebanon into the Eagle Creek Reservoir, a move the Eagle Creek Advisory Committee says could have major impacts on the ecosystem.
