Happy birthday @edwyncollins.bsky.social. My first ever gig was you supporting Pulp at the Royal Highland centre 1996. I was a big fan of Jarvis at the time but these days I prefer Edwyn.

Cutting welfare, spending more on defense, "incontrovertibly a Labour policy"

A worthy intervention from Fiona Bruce for once.

Excuse the munching noise in the background, it wasn't me!

Pics please. What's a book you've had on your shelf for ages that you haven't got round to reading yet?

They were my favourite band in the late nineties until they split up. Jarvis solo stuff was never going to cut it.

Anyway, their new song has just brought a big smile to my face.

Stadlen is right… Douglas Murray’s comments about Humza Yusuf are reprehensible, yet he got to air them on prime time TV - the presenter here, shamefully - just moves on…

Back in 2020 Keir Starmer assured Liverpudlians he would never do interviews with the Scum. The following year he's writing a column for them.

Now Labour are watering down the Hillsborough law that they promised last year would be in force by the 36th anniversary of the disaster (last Tuesday)

Why are sports not considered niche? There's always the bit at the back of the newspaper, the last third of the half hour news programme.

People obsess over the stats. In any other fandom they would be considered 'on the spectrum'.

Hats off to sports fans who balance it out with other weird shit

It's been about a month and I've succeeded in quitting vaping. It's tough because I had refillables and each time I went to the Vape shop they'd upsell me with multi buys and I would walk out with a two week supply.

The 1st step was to throw that away. 2nd was patches, gum, lozenges and sprays.

Well we did get a TV programme out of it.

It's quite funny, like W1A. At one point the CEO is asked how it reached this point and he's like. "I dunno, I've only been in the job ten months."

I wonder if he'll get a bonus.
