You will excuse my pedantry but the SNP isn't a government. It's a political party that's been in government at Holyrood (since 2007)

Would expect more accurate language from the Secretary of state for Education.

This is an easier sell than taxing the other gambling industry, in 2017 and 2019 Labour put forward the Robin Hood Tax to tax financial crisis conversions and transactions (e.g. stocks, derivatives, currency trades).

This is just tinkering at the edges. No real change.

In 2013, an independent report by Second Sight (commissioned by the Post Office) raised serious concerns about the integrity of the system, including the issue of remote access.

The former CEO knew about this and claims, somewhat implausibly, that she did not understand the implications of this.

It means Grenfell survivors, or victims of the Horizon IT scandal, won't have funding for legal representation equal to the amount the Government pays for it's defence.

The Horizon IT scandal shows that the duty of candour for public officials needs to be more strictly enforced.
