In South Kingstown we have to vote to extend past 11 PM and we do so when we MUST address a time sensitive matter. We all know that after 4/5 hours, nobody is at their best and members of the public have left. Scheduling a meeting for 1 AM is straight up BS.
House GOP is holding a hearing on their tax bill at 1:00 AM because they don't want us to know about their scheme to strip 13.7 million people of health coverage & they think no one will stay awake for it.

A team of volunteers pitched in today in South Kingstown to clear an abandoned garden for use during the 2025 gardening season. This won’t solve all the world’s problems, but it feels good to do something towards alleviating food insecurity in SK. Better to light a candle than curse the darkness

I had a long conversation with a friend who I know voted for Trump three times. He couldn’t justify a damn thing that’s been done and was openly pissed off about the “DOGE cuts to Education” in particular.
