Hello Bluesky ! Happy to be there ! Here you can find our last article. How inflammation influences regenerative retinal capacities in #Xenopus at different stages and in the #mouse : www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
Neuroinflammation as a cause of differential Müller cell regenerative responses to retinal injury
The neuroinflammatory microenvironment is pivotal in triggering retinal regeneration.

Very interesting talk by Pradeep Das about stiffness of meristemal stem cells in Arabidopsis (nice to see some plants at this meeting !) #FSSCR2025

We started the day with a very interesting talk by @zaycha.bsky.social about mechanisms of adult neural stem cells coordination during pregnancy when specific new neurons are produced that are sensible to pup odours #FSSCR2025

Great thought-provoking talk of Maria Elena Torres-Padilla at #FSSCR2025 . Replication timing is a major and often overlooked epigenetic feature and is a determinant of cell potency and cell fate.

Now we are able to analyze a dinosaur's fossilized vomit. What a great time to be alive !
110 million years ago, a spinosaur's dinner got the best of it. Turns out the dino's fossilized vomit contained a new species of filter-feeding pterosaur!

I came across this paper a few days ago on social media and had a blast covering it for @science.org: www.science.org/content/arti...
Fossil vomit contains new species of pterosaur from Brazil
Filter-feeding flying reptile was likely devoured by a dinosaur during the early Cretaceous

At one point we should ask ourselves : "What the Müller glia cells do NOT do in the retina ?"
Our latest paper is out! While the circadian photoentrainment circuit has been extensively studied, the mechanisms regulating its development remain poorly understood. Here we show that retinal Müller glia play a key role in this process. Check it out! www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
Retinal glia regulate development of the circadian photoentrainment circuit
Circadian photoentrainment depends on intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells (ipRGCs), which convey environmental light information to th…

New findings in Science suggest that rodents owe much of their evolutionary success to their thumb-nail (the first digit, D1), an adaptation that gave them dexterous hands for cracking seeds and nuts.
