CEO of industrial gasses company Linde gives 3 fundamental reasons why green hydrogen won't take off in EU any time soon:

1) Lack of scalability vs fossil hydrogen
2) High capital costs not coming down
3) Too much competition for renewable electricity

6/ Therefore if its lobbyists can't tick the box, why should TotalEnergies be allowed to attend the UN climate talks in Brazil this November, aka COP30, which are working towards the goals of the Paris Agreement? It openly makes a mockery of the process.

5/ Now that a court has ruled that TotalEnergies' so-called "Paris-aligned" plan of being "net-zero emissions by 2050" is in fact greenwashing, and it's no longer able to claim such things, TotalEnergies is *not* "in full alignment" with "the goals and principles of the Paris Agreement"
