For Xmas I refurbished a "bottom of the drawer" iPod, giving it a new faceplate, rear shell, and scroll wheel, installed Rockbox on it, and loaded it up with FLACs of my wife's fave albums. I see a lot of other folks are doing ditch-Spotify audio players too, happy to be in such good company! 😍

Some end-of-year maintenance on my 10- and 17-year-old headphones, because I'm a dirty device hoarder. New ear pads for all, and my ATH-ANC7s got a new headband @heywhitney.bsky.social whipped out of scraps in like 15 minutes with her sewing machine. Ready for many more years of enjoyment!
