With the passing of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, we have lost not just one of the greatest villains in all cinema, we lost one of the most skilled actors of an era.

I would have killed to see him star as a grumpy detective in a mystery series. He could have done it.

He could do anything.

RIP

Harry Brook may be “the greatest batsman in the world” (which I don’t agree with) but he shouldn’t be playing Test Cricket. He hasn’t got the attitude for it. That stupid ‘fall over and back flip swipe’ thing he does is just not fit for purpose.

Yes, the cricket is on TNT Sports (yes, yet another bloody service to subscribe to) but did you know it is also accessible via Discovery+, which included in Sky subscription

I didn’t. But yaaay!

Watched Stephen Spielbergs “The Post” again yesterday.

It is just stunning to think how quickly the search (and desire) to uncover and publish truth has faltered within the Fourth Estate, corrupted by unharnessed and (currently) unaccountable Political and Financial pressures.

The correct sequence for making the perfect cup of tea

Bag In
(Boiling) Water In
Jiggle it (the bag) all about
Bag Out
Milk In

Now who would have thought that would be controversial?

Scone, jam and cream to go with it maybe?

CONFIRMED: the gold snot covering the Oval Office is $58-apiece onlays from Home Depot that have been spraypainted.

When Laura Ingraham confronted Trump about this in the Oval—specifically and correctly noting that the tacky garbage was from Home Depot—he lied to her face and insisted it wasn't.

I was watching Spin City on Comedy Central last night and saw how JD Vance possibly started his love affair with using man makeup

S04E15 (89) where Paul Lassiter becomes addicted after getting a nasty face rash.

Hilarious, and so on point. Lassiter would fit right in with the trump regime.

My dad knew Cheney since he was fords chief of staff and would always say “i liked him then. Idk what the hell happened”
In the run up to the second Iraq war my dad wrote an article comparing it to the gulf of Tonkin and Cheney himself made sure my father was fired from his gov job

Anyway he’s dead

Congratulations to Lidia Morawska, the Aussie scientist who alerted the world to the airborne nature of COVID-19. Winner of the Prime Minister’s Prize for Science. I’ve learnt so much from being a (very minor) part of Lidia’s team. Brilliant, incisive, generous.
