I've just written more than 5k words in a single day. I don't think I've done that since writing Tidy Girl back in 2020.
Not claiming they're good words or anything, but maybe the appropriate sense of urgency about finishing a story I've got to have done by the end of the month has finally sunk in.

The frequency with which this is happening is so bleak and depressing. Knowing a book has no AI before beginning it, and paying for it, and spending time on it, shouldn’t be a guessing game.
