Opinion | Trump’s doctrine is ‘Make America Small Again’

Oh, that explains it: “Last year, (Milton) and his wife donated more than $2.5 million to boosting Trump’s campaign.“ To Trump, anyone who gets defrauded is just a sucker or loser.
Trump’s pardons wipe out payments to defrauded victims
In addition to clearing prison sentences, the president’s clemency actions have erased millions in restitution payments.

There are enough negative words to (accurately) describe Trump to fill a thesaurus. Today’s word is petty.

The fresh adornments to a “Presidential Walk of Fame” that Trump installed in September take a display already intended as a bit of a troll to new heights.

Admittedly, I live with TDS every day, but even I thought this was a fake post when I saw it. Is he this soulless, or is this post dementedly calculated to change the discourse from Epstein or the double tap bombing or the other atrocities he is responsible for?
Not an iota of grace or decency in this human being.

James Austin Johnson waives the white flag.
Every part of this is bonkers. The intro is bonkers. The transition to his health is bonkers. The mention that other presidents didn't need cognitive exams is bonkers. The claim that this screening test is somehow hard is bonkers. The idea that criticism of him is treason is bonkers. All of it.

Thanks, ESPN. No sooner do you show a graphic that Jalen Hurts has thrown 19 touchdown passes this season against only two interceptions than he goes out and throws four interceptions in one game against no touchdown passes.

Trump on his farm bailout: "This money would not be possible without tariffs ... because of tariffs, this is possible."

@johnfugelsang.bsky.social I don't recall you covering religious objections to vaccines in your book. What would be the possible basis?
The Supreme Court asks Trump's Justice Department to weigh in on a pending challenge to New York's COVID vaccine mandate for health care workers, which lacks any exception for religious objections. Suggests that some justices are looking at this one closely. www.scotusblog.com/cases/case-f...

“He runs around that golf course”? We have eyes, man.
Sen. Roger Marshall on Trump's health: "I'll work 110 hours a week. He outworks me. He's the first person I've ever known that works harder than I do. He runs around that golf course. He's in incredible shape right now. And you talk about sharp! He's playing 4 dimensional chess"

"And the doctor took this little flashlight, a little flashlight with a magnifying glass on it, I guess, and he looked in my ear and he said, with tears in his eyes, he said he could see my big beautiful brain in there, working hard and churning out the smarts, the chimneys smoking and everything"
Trump: "I took my physical. I got all As. Everything. But they said to me, 'would you like to take a cognitive test?' I said, 'Is it hard?' They said, 'yes.' I said, 'Well, I'm a very smart person. Who was the last president to take one?' 'No president has ever agreed to take one' ... I aced it."

These students are not receiving favoritism because they are Asian. This is an entirely merit based program. These cuts are short sighted, counterproductive and discriminatory. They will diminish America’s greatness.

Trump couldn’t play four dimensional chess if you spotted him the first three dimensions. There is no conceivable explanation for this other than corrupt motives, so they have to resort to attributing it to mystical mind powers that they cannot begin to understand.
Markwayne Mullin defends Trump pardoning Honduran president who was convicted of drug trafficking: "What the president is doing is always calculated. I haven't had a direct conversation with the president about it, but I do trust his natural reaction and his approach to foreign affairs."

🤔 I think he's onto something.
My most alienating Oscar opinion of the year is that Wicked pt deux is not a sequel but the simultaneously shot second half of one movie and that therefore it'd be weird to renominate the two stars. This isn't the Emmys; you don't get rewarded for the same role year after year. Will delete shortly.
