V interesting study in @bmj.com
USA Taxi drivers & ambulance drivers are less likely to die of Alzheimer's disease than people of other professions

Links made to Eleanor Maguire's famous discovery that the posterior hippocampus of London taxi drivers was larger than controls.

My thoughts in🧵
Alzheimer’s disease deaths lowest among taxi and ambulance drivers. #BMJ

"Findings raise possibility that frequent spatial processing tasks might offer some protection against Alzheimer’s disease"

Today, I was asked by 2 lab members if we should exclude Afro hairstyles for EEG studies
It should not be an exclusion criterion for #EEG studies in #neuroscience. I've tested >200 participants with great signal quality—this exclusion is unnecessary and limits inclusivity

In my case , carbamazepine is enough and i take care about the triggers most of the time so that i can feel less pain.

Let's connect and discuss further:)
