Why is buying and selling property ( houses) in the uk such a cluster fuck. Because have the professionals don’t know what they are doing and they aren’t accountable to anyone for being shit at their jobs.

We are being taxed out of existence in the UK. Not just farmers, everyone. There has to be a better way. I don’t mean the reform party either.

So it’s quite blustery out. 💨. I believe this is down to Storm Amy. Back in the late 80’s when I was young lad, I think we just called them gales and they happened frequently in Autumn. I guess it’s progress!!

@werahobhouse.bsky.social morning my wife works in retail in bath and is paid 12.21/hr. Most days she can get a lift to Westbury train station where she can get a return ticket for £13.40. If she has to drive and park at the station it’s an additional £6.90 for the day. If she drives our (1/3)

Im a Moonraker, It’s a nickname for people born in Wiltshire. Legend says smugglers hid barrels of spirits in a pond, from excise officers, and raked the moon's reflection, claiming they were trying to rake a round cheese out of the water. The excise offers thought they were stupid and let them go.

If you can choose grass fed beef from small mixed farms. Use independent butchers. The quality of the produce will be excellent and the production system will be kinder to the environment. Back British Farmers. 🙂

It’s definitely mushroom 🍄🟫 season. Found this panther cap on the dog walk this morning. Never seen one before, they are well camouflaged on the woodland floor. Turns out this one is toxic so not going in a risotto any when soon.

Just got off the hot 🥵 bus at the park and ride at odd down. The defender has been absorbing and magnifying the suns rays for a few hours. I’ve just opened the door and basically have been confronted with the gates of hell and a fucking hot 🔥 seat.
