I worry about sending my boy off to Carleton’s campus every day because he’s autistic (also very smart) and fails to understand that what he deems appropriate conversation can be construed as antagonistic by others.
It’s very hard to make him see other perspectives.

I get that no one was killed or wounded in Perth, and it wasn't a religious celebration by the marginalised group being targeted. But a man threw a fucking shrapnel bomb into a crowd of 2,5000 people. Black and First Nations people. And politicians, the media & public silence about it is deafening.
