Well I've had a mini-mini-influx of followers, maybe 40 since the invite system was dropped. But not a deluge exactly. And it's petering out. Not much talk about the change on the Twitter, none on Threads. Not checked Mastodon, which I hardly use now.

Really dark. Nothing makes me less optimistic about American democracy than the rise in right-wing vigilantism and the near-silence from mainstream news sources about it.
