We had a good run, after almost 11 months (including the times I banished my partner to the couch with a mask) we have succumbed to illness. The entire family has a gnarly cold. Taking care of the sick baby while you’re sick is so humbling. I’m glad she’s almost 1 and didn’t get sick sooner though.

Scheduled my 9 month old for an early MMR vaccine, we are traveling in March and I’m not taking any risks since I’m aware of the measles r0 and woefully bad vaccination rates lately. Even if no one is sick here, there are flights from Texas at the airport. Glad I have a good pediatrician.
