I like some of the sentiment here, but I also strongly disagree with some of it.
Mechanics are part of the medium of the design space. It absolutely matters which mechanics you select and how you use them.

Game mechanics aren't that special.
There is nothing inherently better about rolling 2d6 vs a d12, rolling over or under a stat for a skill check, or using tokens.
The special part is when you, the designer, noticing how a particular mechanic lets you share a part of the human experience

I am curious about this! I'd also like to know if you like developmental stuff presented in the same place as the narrative or separately.
Here's an interesting question for people who like APs.
Do you watch/listen to the session 0 if provided? Do you do so first before getting into the episodes, or do you like to dig in retroactively?

I commend Pelosi on her courageous commitment to using her position to profit through investments in the stock market based on privileged information and her tireless efforts to defend our government from shifts to the left that would have benefited ordinary people.
Like so many Americans, I am grateful for Speaker Pelosi’s decades of service and leadership.

Folks, it's extremely healthy to envy things that are nice about other cities, even if you love your own.
If you live in LA and the thing you are jealous of is not the transit system, you need to see a priest because you have demons in you.

You may not agree, but I think it’s time for Dems from coast to coast to run on Medicare for all.
We do NOT need health insurance companies at all.
Period.
They serve no valuable societal purpose other than to add cost to healthcare and drive people crazy.
