Something I feel perfectly encapsulates the spirit of my hometown is the fact that anytime a new fast food joint goes up, people in the comments on articles about it complain and ask why we can’t have “nice” restaurants like Olive Garden or Red Lobster and I really wish I were joking

I’m finally seeing Jack’s Mannequin for the first time tonight and 17-year-old me is stoked. 33-year-old me is stoked too, but is also making sure to wear compression socks and Loops and hoping I’ll be home by midnight
