I only read English but I seek out news from other countries to get a bigger view of what’s happening in the world.

Ukraine, France & Japan all have English language versions of their news available on BlueSky.

In case you’re interested, this thread for sources I’ve found.

With the Epstein case, we either end up in a world where pedophilia, sexual assault of children, and human trafficking are endorsed by the United States of America, or we hold every single person involved in these heinous crimes accountable. It appears the Trump regime is trying hard for the former.

Republicans have also learned a hard lesson: my law firm and I fight hard for our clients. We never back down. And whether it’s on Democracy Docket’s website or before the Supreme Court, I will always stand by my four pillars, defending voting rights and free and fair elections.

If Republicans thought they could score an easy win by suing a friendly state, they thought wrong. They didn’t count on my law firm representing groups that would intervene to defend the law — but tha...

In times of stress, I’ve been known to be found hiding in my office with shines of yarn draped around my neck.

To the point where nobody in my house even bats an eye. Like it’s a perfectly normal way to deal with life.

A lot is still unknown, but what we do know is how the president is reacting to the revelations found this week in the Epstein emails.

Which is to say, like he’s guilty.

The Last March of the Ents into Isengard has a more satisfying victory than the Battle of Helm’s Deep.

My favorite part is when the Ent who’s on fire dips his head into the released river.

Alt: A scene from ‘Lord of the Rings: Two Towers” where Ents (sentient ancient tree creatures) stand in a raging river flood that was released after they broke the dam.

NYT knew about the Epstein link in 2015.

Well before🍊💩🌮 was the presumptive R nominee.

Then they gleefully piled the hate onto Hillary.

Misogyny is the base hate upon which all other hate is built upon.
About the same time the NYT sat on a scoop tying Trump to Epstein, Maggie Haberman was downright giddy (y'all) about NYT promoting an anti-Hillary Clinton book.

“THE SHIELD WALL IS HOLDING:
Doctors in shield-law states like NY and MA are still mailing pills into ban states—and anti-abortion AGs are losing it. Funny how “states’ rights” suddenly don’t matter when the state is protecting YOUR rights.”
⚖️SOUTH CAROLINA IS A TEST CASE
Lawmakers saw that 84% of abortions in SC were done with pills and lost their damn minds. Now they’re using the law to see how close they can get to their goal of completely gutting abortion access:

Oh look!

This is what happens when you limit airborne vax for ppl over 65 (UK upped the age for the 2022/23 flu season).

Maybe mitigate airborne risks: air filtration, resp masks, etc. Then you don't have to rinse and repeat this year after year.

I expect to see these kinds of # in US soon.

All this Epstein stuff highlights how brazen evil men are. They have no shame for their deeds, only a desire to keep them hidden. They don't slink away into the shadows, they seek power until they're finally toppled. It's pathological. Their humanity is missing something vital.
