The president has illegally declared war to stop fentanyl trafficking from a country that does not traffic that drug, claiming its leader is trafficking drugs himself, the day after pardoning a former leader of a country who is a convicted drug trafficker.

Against all odds, there was some sort of American version of The Big Breakfast and Elliott Smith went on and played a beautiful version of Clementine. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwsS...

Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.

Not a joke: Trump just greenlit RUSH HOUR 4. It will be directed by Brett Ratner, a pig of a human being who has been accused of sexual assault by six women. He also harassed Elliot Page and outed him. Disgusting and depressing on so many levels I don't know where to start.

Hey fellow LGBTQIA+—

The movie “Small Town Gay Bar” was a critical part of me understanding the importance and resilience of queer spaces.

It’s an important film to Queer history and the original director is trying to re-release it.

If you can’t contribute, please boost the signal.

Bring up these names at Thanksgiving dinner this week. Shrugs all around.

But if I had a dollar for every time I've seen them mentioned on blusky this week I could buy a new car with cash.
2/ Watching Nuzzi v Lizza unfold makes me think this must have been what watching the July Crisis was like, where the great powers insisted on going ahead with World War I.

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

My mother is, for all I know, completely straight, but she was a liberal feminist in small-town North Carolina in 1978, so you bet your ass she felt more accepted at the local gay bar than she ever did somewhere more "normal"

I know dfw isn’t small so don’t clench but there used to be a great docu on netflix called “small town gay bar” (iirc) and it was all about how gay bar culture is dying in bigger cities with assimilation into hetero spaces but how important it is in small towns for building community

Grew up #gay in rural Michigan, and Small Town Gay Bar showed me queer joy can survive anywhere. Help bring this #queer classic to a new generation who need that hope. Chip in if you can, and a re-share would mean the world. 😘
