Terrible opinions about the unhoused may be universal in the US. I blew up on Spokane Reddit for asking why everyone is acting so overly concerned about the homeless here.
I've walked the small part of town the Uber driver warned us about, and yeah there was a very visible homeless population....

Ya'll spokane is wild. I just bought an ounce of weed for $15. It's outdoor, kinda like a mix between good, quality modern indoor and that schwag/brick weed from the 90's. Also, virginia creeper appears to be fairly invasive out here.

It's like the titanic is sinking and Warner is worried about the silverware arrangement on the tables. The time for respect is over. The time for decorum is over. The time to fight fascism is now.

Anyone know where to purchase some cheap "flexposts"? Considering doing a bit of tactical urbanism. This will be, as Edward Abbey called it, a bit of night work, so the funding would be coming out of my pocket, and my budget for this is pretty small.

I'm trying to build a list of local organizations (RVA or Chesterfield area) that can help people who are worried about or at risk for deportation. I have a couple of individuals and CASA on my list currently. If you know any local orgs who work with that type of thing, please list them below

So I watched some segments of the inauguration live and remember seeing crowd members return Elon's salute during his speech. I have since looked for that footage again and can't seem to find it online anywhere. Does anyone have stills or the video showing the crowd salute back at musk?

My god I was such a menace as a kid. I can remember my parents asking me multiple times just to call them and let them know where i was on weekend nights. We'd leave out on Friday and not show up at home again until Sunday. Mostly harmless stuff interspersed with mild alcohol poisoning.
