I lost a dear friend and colleague this year, Sue.
She was a wonderful human, a real force of nature. She was my “work mum” & she used to pick leaves out of my hair and look after me 🥲

I am helping to raise money for The Christie Charity, who looked after Sue💘

Yesterday’s drive to work in the snow was the closest I’ve ever come to crashing. I hit black ice on the dual carriageway and completely lost control. For a moment, all I could think was, “You’ve just got to let it happen. There’s nothing you can do now.”

I have way too many chronic illnesses for it to be believable at this point.

Overtook a police car (still within the speed limit) on the dual carriageway tonight. I’m on a roll!

Not to rain on anyone else’s Tuesday, but I’m spending the whole day in training learning about cocaine, crack & other stimulants!

Belle has joined us in bed tonight, a real rarity. I’m pretty sure she’s only here for the warmth! #CatsOfBluesky

Watching the final episode of Jonathan Creek. We’ve made it through them all, and honestly, the later ones really lost the plot. It was never quite the same after Caroline Quentin left as his sidekick (though we did like Sheridan Smith).

Trying to rehome my cheese plant that’s outgrown us. Agreed to give it to a local lady on Facebook who’s since ghosted, while 24 others wait in limbo. Love that for everyone involved!

Dads love to text "Call me when you have a minute" with no way to tell if your family has suffered a terrible tragedy, or if he just needs help with the router.

My cat’s never even had ice cream, so why does he sprint to the door every time he hears the ice cream van?

Bad fatigue sort of feels like when you are about to go under anesthesia and you can't keep your eyes open. But with fatigue, you're still expected to do stuff.
