I like that the story for AEW’s men heavyweight title is now a race to see who can be worst human being alive. The prestige of a title of obviously important, but characters genuinely hating each other can feel over looked in modern wrestling.

I think people want things from wrestling that don’t really exist, so they end up complaining about it. Expecting AEW to be required “can’t miss TV” the way a serialized TV show is just setting yourself up to fail. Making 4 hours of TV every single week is just inherently stupid.

I’ve always found it interesting when outlets or critics make their “Best of the Year” list but then need to make side list for genres like metal and horror. If they weren’t good enough to make the main list, mentioning them after the fact in their own separate list just feels insulting.
