Yo, I’m so happy for NYC, Mamdani is going to be an amazing mayor and he ends the political career of a real creep.
But OMG I’m tired of hearing about the mayoral race of a city a thousand miles away. You would think he’s actually running for national office the way the media covers him.

What kind of post? The ones where I point out the release of The Downward Spiral is closer to the Kennedy assassination than today? Or that Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is closer to the Carter presidency than today? Or that Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is closer to the moon landing than today?

I don’t think the flavor lasted for 30 seconds. Even as a kid with a sweet tooth, I thought it was ridiculous.

Fremont is full of people for whom Omaha is the “big city” and just too crowded. So yeah, 300 people in a town of 27k? That’s pretty good.

If, like me, you’re having a hard time with… <gestures broadly> …everything, I highly recommend taking five minutes to send a message to a creator you follow or a small business owner you patronize. I bet they get appreciative emails less than you think and it’ll make both of you feel good.

This was simply the most incredible show I’ve ever seen. I’ve dreamed of seeing QOTSA with an orchestra and I can’t believe it was better than I imagined. Amazing

Every time I watch ALIEN I am transfixed thinking to myself "there's no way they've left themselves enough room to get the third horizontal line in that E without it looking like a squashed-in mess!" but no, every single time there it is, and it's beautiful. Most tense part of the movie tbh.

Bought this right after release and intentionally didn’t listen to it until I got on an overnight charter bus trip to Denver for an FBLA conference. Wanted to listen to it on repeat until I passed out. I won’t lie, I don’t think 16 year old me “got it” at the time, but now it’s an all time favorite.

I really hate the new Liquid Glass icons for iOS 26. They have a slight fuzziness to them that drives me nuts when I look at them for more than a second. I’m already worried about my vision going bad and they just ramp up my anxiety.
