#SharedIsland summit in Dublin Castle. Great to share a stage and a brilliant conversation about theatre, arts, their role on this island, @abbeytheatre.bsky.social as Ireland's National Theatre.
United are becoming a team again 😉

Great article in @theatlantic.com today about how the @abbeytheatre.bsky.social being Ireland’s National Theatre inspired the FTP in the USA and continues to influence thinking on national theatres & their importance.

One of my favourite renditions of Fairytale was on the streets of Dublin City as Shane passed on his journey home just over two years ago. True love. #ShaneMcGowan #speirgorm

Villa without Rogers would never have scored. United without Deligt, Mbuemo, Amad, Maguire, Mazraoui, Casemiro should have at least drawn. Sesko, Cunha wasteful. Also loved Martinez in the pivot, tackling & his insightful passing brilliant. Still only 3 points off top 4. Onwards #MUFC

What a stunning film Hamnet is.
Another adaptation of a brilliant book that sings a song of its own. Hamnet shines. Chloe Zhao’s direction is mesmerising. Łukasz Żal cinematography is so beautiful and there simply are not enough superlatives for Jesse Buckley and Paul Mescal.

‘I don’t have to go every day fighting for my position because I earned it’
Wow. Now there’s a problem
That has to be the end of Salah.
Sad to see, and endemic of a lot of the problems in premier league clubs.
Notions of upperosity indeed.

100 years since he was born.
His presence and words much missed.
I loved loved loved his writing, particularly on sport. The archetypal magic realist writer before that phrase was born. The great Con Houlihan.
