A fringe theory that this team should in fact now be called the Santa Clara 49ers holds much more weight

Not that I can be expected to take any poll related to college sports seriously, but I really do enjoy the analysis of @robertgriffiniii.bsky.social - it makes even a bad game from my school interesting

Indiana is in unheralded statistical territory. They're more than a full 20% more efficient in scoring per play, adjusted for schedule, than 2019 LSU.

We're still in the range of probability from the simulator... But for how long?

Peach Bowl semifinal time!

Indiana are 65.4% favorites. Tonight avg sim score was 29-24 to Indiana. The bad news for Oregon is that this projection assumes a fully healthy team, and RBs look depleted by injury

Turned out pretty close to the simulated average! #cfb
Fiesta Bowl time! This semifinal sees Miami win 62.8% of simulated games based on objective SportsReference.com performance data.

Will this be another stifling, low-scoring game? Will either team reach their projected average? (27 to 24)

The QB I would've liked goes to a conference rival, makes sense. Instead our top-notch facilities will now entertain ...a final-year QB who went 20/8 against the 92nd ranked SoS.
Florida QB transfer DJ Lagway is expected to transfer to Baylor, a source confirmed to @theathletic.com.

Big win for Dave Aranda and Jake Spavital. The Bears needed a QB with Sawyer Robertson gone. Lagway returns to his home state of Texas and the school where his dad played.

Win back the trust of global democracies by handing every bad actor over to international court / The Hague. Include the judges who enabled it all.
The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.

I can't help but read this as "The President needs to make it illegal for my friends and relatives to hate me for what I did", which is more or less the MAGA line on everything

Growing up, there was one kid's house we'd get instantly grounded for, if we went there after school. ChatGPT is like that household times a million.
“ChatGPT started coaching Sam on how to take drugs, recover from them and plan further binges. It gave him specific doses of illegal substances, and in one chat, it wrote, ‘Hell yes—let’s go full trippy mode’”

"Who on earth gives that advice?"

I'm so glad more people share in this view every year we move forward, as the CFP heads have failed in almost every year since the BCS was abandoned
it's so stupid that a game between two eliminated teams will decide who makes the NFL playoffs. clearly they need a better system: having 12 athletic directors with obvious conflicts of interest sit in cloaks in a fancy hotel ballroom and decide which teams get in (one must be Alabama)

And the oil is to *checks notes* appease billionaires and the insane resource cost of AI data centers. Oligarchy is the worst.
We're Iraq now invading Kuwait but there's no America to stop us. Gonna need Reuters and that dumbass to tell me how awesome this is. We're criminals. Trump is using my tax money to murder people and steal oil.
Q: Is it possible that the US ends up administering Venezuela for years?

TRUMP: Well, you know, it won't cost us anything because the money coming out of the ground is very substantial
