Almost every major speech I've read of Hillary Clinton's, I've noticed how she laces them with Christian themes, which makes sense given her Methodist upbringing. Reading this, I thought "oh, this is a lady who knows her Bible."

This is what oligarchy is about:

If you paid 1 penny in federal income taxes last year, you paid more than Tesla - a $1.3 trillion company owned by Elon Musk, the wealthiest man alive, who became $460 billion richer since Election Day after spending $290 million to elect Trump.

Pay attention to this. The more popular opinion turns against Trump, the more desperate they are going to get. And the more they are going to try to screw with the elections.
Trump’s efforts to interfere in midterms becoming clearer & more dangerous every day:

-using ICE to terrorize blue states & cities

-seizing ballots in heavily Dem counties

-prosecuting 2020 enemies

-extorting states for sensitive voter data

When the news media doesn't consider it newsworthy that the Trump administration is hiding the identity of Pretti's killers, it seems to be an implicit acknowledgment that we're now living in a police state. And the news media is enabling that change.
The New York Times reports that the agents who killed Alex Pretti were placed on leave, yet it ignores the far more important issue: federal employees can currently kill a citizen and remain anonymous. This is the story.

One thing I believe, as a white person, is far too many white people forget the debt that activism in the US owes generally to the Civil Rights movement, and how much the instruments of power that Stephen Miller is trying to extend across the country are those of Jim Crow.
These words demand attention.
