After many years of persecution by the ATO over his whistleblowing on their debt collection practices, the ordeal is over

You know, if you find the blowing up of hospitals and the innocents within abhorrent, maybe you shouldn’t spend years blowing up hospitals and the innocents within.

And to be absolutely clear, stop blowing up hospitals whichever side you’re on, or you’re a cunt.

If one is censured by a nation's Parliament for behaviour officially found to be "corrosive of trust in government", and is referred to an anti-corruption commission for misleading its Cabinet about the "crude and cruel" Robodebt scheme, how is one then eligible for said country's highest honour?

The foolish rationale for spending $368B on #AUKUS subs is to support the US in war with China over Taiwan. The US says this could happen in 2027. We won’t get US subs until at least 2032; if ever. AUKUS is strategic folly at every level. But don’t expect anyone to admit that. #auspol

The persecution of Richard Boyle is wrong on so many levels. Coming up to 9 years of Richard and Louise lives being placed on hold while the federal govt continues to drag this out. Richard’s crime? Telling the truth!
Richard Boyle’s prosecution is unequivocal proof that our whistleblower laws are completely broken. Michelle Rowland must do what Mark Dreyfus was unwilling/unable to do - fix them! We also need a Whistleblower Protection Authority. #auspol

At risk of being rude, have others noticed the extreme irony of the National Party (self declared ‘friend of farmers’) breaking up the coalition because they oppose Net Zero while Australia languishes under extreme floods in NSW and extreme drought everywhere else? No? Just me, then?

Second only to the aged pension in federal spending.
Is it sustainable?
Not if we keep pretending billionaires need tax breaks more than disabled people need support.
Taxing billionaires should be less controversial than helping disabled people live with dignity

Yet again, we get the obligatory "Climate 200-backed..." when referring to a community independent candidate.

But when is their reference to a Liberal as "mining industry-backed" or "Gina Rinehart-funded"?

ABC news fails to declare their status quo bias. #auspol

Liberal preferences may help elect Climate 200-backed independent who vows to end gas
Kate Hulett, who has said she will be "raging" against a proposed Woodside gas expansion if elected, may be delivered to parliament thanks to the Liberals preferencing her above Labor.

Holy fuck. After TWO losses, they are still refusing to acknowledge that the reason Australians are not voting for them is them. They are the agents of their own downfall. Throwing out Morrison was not a mistake. We are not the ones who needed to get “back on track”. They have learned NOTHING.

If Labor was smart, they'd:
• ignore the pro-LNP media (esp. NewsCorp). They don't represent the views of most Australians.
• be principled. Take real action to address climate, housing, education, healthcare.
• This will shore up support among informed young voters for 2028.
