That goal might mean I get a green arrow in spite of forgetting to save my team. Meaning I played Rodon, Senesi and Thiago instead of Lacroix, Keane and Mbuemo.

Could have been a whole lot worse #FPL

🚨 UPDATE: #lfc indicate they will NOT bid again after £110m bid for Alexander Isak 'robustly' rejected by #nufc.

Is that really the end of it? 🤔

All the details & what it means for Isak - who is due back at Newcastle training ground on Monday - here 👇

As I understand the process, an infant Pope is currently entering the ‘Conclave’ - a chrysalis-like form from which a fully grown adult pope will eat his way out after a month of growth.

The adult Pope will have a hat as soon as he emerges but does not yet have the ability to fly.

Love #NUFC and love the #FPL AM chip that I played on Eddie Howe two weeks ago.

4 matches, 4 wins (assuming a miracle from palace don’t occur) and looking at around 40 total points. My most lucrative chip in nearly 20 years of playing this.

I’ll shout it from the fucking rooftops…

My Dad is 80. He was at the fairs cup final in 1969.

My one wish as a Newcastle fan has been to see us win a cup with him, before he’s gone.

Today Newcastle United fulfilled that wish.

This club is in our blood and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Isn’t Rupert Lowe the guy that ran Southampton FC into the ground, leading them on a path to League One?

Once upon a time I remember him being the by word for a bad owner. Amazing how these Teflon figures keep failing upwards.

Newcastle will win something in the next few years, given our wealth.

Do we win something this season? It rests on what we get from the squad players on the day. How much can Murphy, Wilson, an ageing Schar and Tripps raise their game?

If we see the same as we did today, there’s no chance.

Trump’s USA suddenly siding with the Russians alone is like when Scar took over Pride Rock and invited all the hyenas into the pride.

Think that film ends with Scar being eaten by the hyenas.

Wasn’t the one of lines used by Vote Leave ‘Britain is full’?

Bit of a funny change from Farage now to be saying that birth rates need to be higher. Almost as though he doesn’t actually believe in anything…

The USA is currently in the process of making an incredible series of geopolitical and economic mistakes.

It is driving its allies away and going to be alone on the world stage.

Europe will move closer to China, which although a despotic state, is a dependable trading partner. 1/2

When can we stop fucking around and just rejoin the EU?

Brexit - lovely idea, enjoyed the blue Passports and pretending Steve Baker was hard. We all had a good laugh.

But the world is a serious place and we need to take our spot back in Europe rather than hope the big boys will leave us alone.

Great that the UK was included in that Weimar statement. God I hope we rejoin the EU, this is a new and dangerous world and I don’t think I’ve ever felt more as part of a little island.

Oof transferred out Foden for Gordon this week. That’s a toughie #FPL

Doing well to dominate but a few players underperforming: Almiron so one footed and Longstaff looks like a man under pressure.

Miley looking really good.

Also Osula looks like he’s trying too hard for his goal, but he’s fed from scraps to date #NUFC

Eddie Howe is such an incredible manager and we are lucky to have him.

To bounce back after the Brentford loss with 7 wins on the spin is incredible. he’s hard working, bright and just so resilient under pressure.

I’d just love him and that squad to win something #nufc

Death, taxes and shit refereeing.
The three guarantees in the life of a football fan.
The Premier League is the best league in the world. The refereeing standards are deeply inconsistent with no transparency, leaving the fan with little faith that the right decisions will be made.

I’ve written an article about it for True Faith - give it a read here! #NUFC

One of the biggest problems I think we have is a lack of leadership on the pitch.

We badly miss what prime Trippier offered us week in week out. #NUFC

The squad now needs a major, major overhaul. Lotta players too old/crap.

The choice is whether we trust Howe/Mitchell to work in tandem to spread the wealth a little more evenly rather than 50m+ players #nufc
I don’t think Howe can turn this around. There’s no signs of improvements - I’d argue we’re regressing. The club needs a fresh start
