Classic soundtrack producer. You may know me from such soundtrack albums as "Star Trek: The Original Series Soundtrack Collection," "Moonraker," and "Total Recall."

This is my personal page where I'll share what interests me.

There seems to be some misunderstandings about the recent James Bond expanded albums coming from @lalalandrecords.bsky.social so I wrote up this response. If you like it, feel free to let your friends know. A lot of this can also apply to other expanded albums I've produced.

Mark Ward at "The Tracking Angle" takes aim at the expanded release of John Barry's score to the James Bond film, "Moonraker." I'm always thrilled when these albums pass the audiophile test!

Back in 1990 when we moved from York to N. Ireland we listened to Jerry Goldsmith’s “Best Shot” (Hoosiers) through the car stereo whilst driving to the ferry ⛴️. When I listen to this thrilling score today it brings back so many mixed emotions! Happy Birthday to the late, great Jerry Goldsmith!

Here's "Clever Girl" from the score to "Total Recall." The music is by Jerry Goldsmith who was born 97 years ago today.
