I suppose an intro post is in order:

As someone who typically holds quality and consistency in work in high regard, the sloppy AI-ification of everything absolutely pains me. Why do we suddenly accept merely "meh" or worse quality in imagery, articles, social media posts, etc?

Had a lot of fun making this t-shirt for myself :) 🤘

Being the top 45,193rd listener of Taylor feels like both the most basic and the most shocking fact about me.

This beauty just arrived (The 10 Year Anniversary edition of Down To Earth by Flight Facilities) just arrived and ugh. I love this album so much. I love that this intro mentions the anniversary 😮‍💨

I was at the open day of the ICC in Berlin this year, and matched the environment coincidentally. Of course I had to capture that (thanks to my friend for taking the pictures!)

Another day, another app that forces you to use AI for things you've been doing perfectly fine with regular computing for the past decade.

Psyched to finally have a physical version of Dylan's music, after listening to his stuff for over a decade and growing up with his lyricism.

Check him out, support an indie artist 💜: www.dylanowenmusic.com

Me signing up for the library in the year I told myself to focus on reading books I already own wasn't super smart. The world of Libby is too tempting (but also helpful to get audio versions of the books I own) ❤️

A library card in Berlin costs 10 euros per year, and the amount of content (digital as well) you get for that is insane. I love it. (a similar offer in Amsterdam would be more than 60 euros per year, just to compare to where I come from)

Raw dog a book. Get something from the library that you’ve never heard of and don’t know the outcome of. Do the Brian Eno thing where you roll dice or draw cards and go to that section of the library. Retrain your intellectual curiosity. Try something you might hate and see what you learn from it.
The first time I heard someone say “Enemies to lovers” I realized that we were turning books into Starbucks drinks. Find the most specific one they’re able to make for you and order it every day until you’re dead.

I’ll never be a real grownup because part of me believes wholeheartedly that I can fix anything in my life by buying a new pen and notebook or adopting another cat

Software solutions meant for companies to use are always so damn bad and it's so stupidly frustrating. They're small annoyances you endure on a near-daily basis and aarrggh. Why do they not care??

Stumbled upon this search result. I assume I can thank AI for putting my name in the same list as Tim Walker(!) and Lara Jade (= 1st person who inspired me to pick up a camera 18 yrs ago). Sadly I am, in fact, not published in top magazines or even a professional fashion photographer at all 😂

I am so grateful that I found dance, especially as it's not something I grew up with. My dance classes 2-3x a week definitely keep me sane ❤️

I've been doing some group strength training, it's the kind of exercises you'd do at the gym except that they take the thinking out of it for you, and it's honestly great. I really dislike having to track reps, sets, breaks, weights, different exercises. This setup allows me to just do 💪

doodle. write poems you never show anyone. make banana bread. take pictures of birds. grow a plant. the goal isn’t to build job skills or “become a creative” it’s to just fool around and experience yourself and the world around you

Sometimes I feel like our society only sees the lives shared online as worth living, which is just selection bias (I see the lives & commentary online) and as someone who doesn't enjoy posting on most social media anymore, I sometimes feel like my life is "nothing". I don't know how to combat that.

Please send me the funny/terrible Google AI/chat GPT search results you have spotted. For example, the one that suggests eating one small rock per day, or the one that suggests using an iron to smooth your scrotum wrinkles.

As one of the instagram accounts I deleted held my little #poetry experiments, I thought maybe I'd share some here. Even though it's very scary to do so.
