Absolutely Not This Guy 2028!
The presidency once served as a reminder of our common humanity. Ronald Reagan described its purpose as building "a nation composed of good and decent people."

Longer replies like this always show more nuance, so I’m glad it was shared.

Honestly he just seems confused. Is it helpful or not? I think he WANTS it to be even if it isn’t, despite the controversy. Hopefully they listen to the backlash
If I had known the two paragraphs about genAI in my article today would be so controversial, I would have expanded them a bit! Here's a rough transcript of the relevant portion of my interview with Swen Vincke, so everyone has all the context. (Full article here: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...)

ANY genAI use is too much. Ni amount of sugar coating it fixes it

(Finished) 12/16/25: Tingus Goose 🎮 (2025) 7/10.

I would not typically play this style of game, but since it represents my people (inaccurately but still) I had to try it out.

It's a shockingly solid idle game, if a little gross and a little too grindy near the end. Would recommend!

Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."

12/14/25: Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (2025) 🎥 5/10.

Bad! Bad! Bad! Oh my god terrible. Fun time, watch it with friends.

The first movie, while also not good, is at least a competent film. This movie has the most baffling script in the world. So so so bad. Can't wait for 3.

I'm going to throw some cold water on the anger about this.

It is now considered ROUTINE for AAA games to spend as much on marketing as they do on Dev. Dev costs $200M? That's the starting point of conversation on how much to spend on marketing, PR and ads.

Last night's biggest surprise was Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, led by Casey Hudson, who directed KOTOR (and Anthem). Exciting news for lots of people... but Lucasfilm says the studio was founded this year, which means that 2030 is an *optimistic* guess. Maybe it'll be a PlayStation 7 game

I hate the online reaction cycle that praises a piece of art a lot and uses it as an example of what’s good about the medium but then the moment it gets awards or enough acclaim or fandom, suddenly we have to talk about how it’s actually not really that good and it’s overrated and always sucked

game awards were good! if i wasnt in the midst of a game jam id do a blog post about it / the narrative around the show not really changing despite the show having clear improvements but alas twas not to be

given the number of support/contract workers, i straight up think they're lying
"Sandfall wanted to prove that indie studios were capable of making prestige games at a fraction of the budget and personnel of larger studios....

"Sandfall, which said the budget for Clair Obscur was less than $10 million..."

these sorts of lies are still quite amazing to me. this was posted in response to a tweet on the idf twitter account and a times of israel article, both of which are very real, takes 10 seconds to check. but zionists will just deny reality outright
This is a complete lie made to look like it is real. There is no story in the Times of Israel nor and news release by the IDF. This is propaganda pretending to be factual news. Ignore the liars of Qatar, Gaza and the IRI

There are many material reasons why Netflix owning WB/HBO sucks but the pettiest one I have is they suck at distributing their own work or building up any enthusiasm. They have failed their way to the top with a strategy that doesn’t benefit the work.
