Dana Bash asked Gov. Moore if Trump excluded him from governors’ dinner because he’s Black. Everyone knew answer. Moore handled it with dignity, noting he’s the nation’s only Black Gov! Never comfortable to say the obvious: America’s president is a racist. Let’s see how many governors still show up.
Stop dancing around it—Donald Trump is a racist. That’s not a flaw in his brand; it is the brand. It’s why he leads the GOP & got elected. He doesn’t believe people of color belong in this country, & sure as hell doesn’t think the nation’s only Black governor—Wes Moore, deserves a seat at his table.

Don't treat body cams on ICE as a win. In Minneapolis, an ICE agent had his cellphone camera on when he shot & murdered Renée Good. It shows cameras alone won’t stop violence if rules & laws don’t ensure accountability. Boston’s bodycam rollout protected cops more than the public—THIS IS THE DANGER!

Btw, I wasn’t offended at all that Kamala’s vetting team asked
@governor.pa.gov whether he’d worked with or for Israeli interests—not because he’s Jewish, but because he’s a Democrat. That question should be standard. I hoped Biden’s team had asked Kamala the same thing. If she said no, she lied!

Agreed 💯. I support a system-wide, means-tested fare-free model for buses & subways & have pushed for this in Boston instead of @mayorwu.boston.gov’s limited free bus-line approach w/o means testing. It’s a smarter use of tax dollars & provides real affordability relief for people who need it most.
I like this because it doesn't create the 1st class/2nd class transit categories that paid subways/free buses would do - key is streamlining/agressively promoting sign-up @nyc.streetsblog.org

Agreed 💯. I support a system-wide, means-tested fare-free model for buses & subways & have pushed for this in Boston instead of @mayorwu.boston.gov’s limited free bus-line approach w/o means testing. It’s a smarter use of tax dollars & provides real affordability relief for people who need it most.
