Trying really hard on surprisingly moderate boulder problems. Pursuit of local strava segments 30 years to late. A nuisance in the airport sunglasses shop.

NEW: The British politician, his Russian intelligence handler & a Kremlin plot against the US & Ukraine.

My new piece about Nathan Gill and Nigel Farage for @thenerve_news in which we ask:

Why, even now, is no-one asking questions?

Me yesterday: "For all its faults, the BBC offers great value for money, and I'd pay the license for the Glastonbury coverage alone."

BBC today:"Due to political pressure, right wing press, people who mostly hate us and don't pay the license fee, we're restricting our Glastonbury coverage."

Would the people of Maine be entitled to withhold paying their federal taxes if this is the case?
TRUMP: The NCAA has complied immediately. That's good. But I understand Maine -- is the governor of Maine here?

JANET MILLS: Yeah I'm here

TRUMP: Are you not gonna comply?

JM: I'm going to comply with state and federal law

T: You better do it bc you're not gonna get any federal funding at all

Just returned from driving on the Edinburgh bypass where there's a farmer's rolling tractor protest on the Eastbound carriageway.
Traffic is bottlenecked behind the protest and significantly slowed, including two ambulances. But hey, if my tax break was reduced to £3M, I'd be in my tractor, too.

I thought I was pretty engaged, but wasn't aware of a lot of this stuff. Need to spend less time looking at Trump and his goblins.

@bsky.app Is anything being done about the influx of bots to Bluesky? It's been hard to come to terms with, but I suspect the 10s of young, attractive women following my account may not be real.

Thanks to all the bikini clad woman that have recently started following this account.
I don't claim to understand the confluence between a middle aged man's snark, mediocre climbing videos and ladies swimwear, but welcome.
Maybe I should try a bikini myself, the freedom of movement must be great.
