It's important to understand that Confederate statues have come down around the country chiefly as the result of illegal direct action.

I keep hearing over & over people on the radio or on television or in person saying "things have returned to normal", quickly followed up by a bunch of things that haven't returned to normal. 🫠The answer is rather obvious, you can't pretend away a virus that is this significant.

Thank you to Canada's Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Theresa Tam for wearing a high quality mask at #UNGA. Though it's extreme cognitive dissonance that no one else is wearing a mask at a high-level pandemic prevention meeting in NYC, where COVID-19 levels are high.
