How adorable is this juvenile American Dipper begging for lunch? It’s amazing how quickly they transform from helpless nestlings into fluffy, demanding youngsters - usually within 24 days after hatching. Parents still strive to keep them well-fed even after they fledge.

Weird. I dreamed I had a young jaguar, big lanky kitten, about 35 pounds. It kept exploring the dream space we were in, checking out random people. I could pick it up and it would cuddle. Then two bigger jaguars showed up and kitten tangled with them. Had to reach in and pull it out of the scrum.

Murder charges now.
The death of Alex Pretti has been ruled a homicide, the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office said. Pretti was shot Jan. 24 during a chaotic encounter with federal immigration officers in Minneapolis. Jesus Ochoa and Raymundo Gutierrez were named as the two officers who fired at Pretti.
