Starting to clean out my office in preparation for retirement at the end of May: notebooks with old conference notes, perusal scores of unsung choir pieces, sheet music that only worked for one particular sermon, thank you notes, orders of service…. I’m gonna have such a lovely bonfire.

How adorable is this juvenile American Dipper begging for lunch? It’s amazing how quickly they transform from helpless nestlings into fluffy, demanding youngsters - usually within 24 days after hatching. Parents still strive to keep them well-fed even after they fledge.
