They just tear-gassed us. They tried to run us over in a van holding a peaceful protester. They shot us with pepper balls. They dragged another protester into the facility.
moments ago, ice agents again came out of the broadview detention/“professing” facility to escort a silver suv out of the lot.
one of the agents picked up and threw congressional candidate kat abughazaleh to the ground.

It sure sounds like level-headed Matt is just griping about his own experience getting called out for supporting any number of right-wing positions over the years, and being correctly IDed as a guy who makes it easier for politicians to adopt or hold policy positions that leftists think are bad.
I’m trying a big-tent approach to climate - @dwallacewells.bsky.social & @mattyglesias.bsky.social both blurbed my book. But Matt is so right about the lefty approach to enemy-choosing. He doesn’t mention climate but Al Gore (!) called this Ivory Soap environmentalism: 99.44% pure ain’t enough.

Obviously the tired "where is the Joe Rogan of the left" discourse was never about building leftist media talent, which already existed, but propping up cutouts to regurgitate talking points and handle their talent with kid gloves. Just watch Ritchie Torres on the Adam Friedland show to see why

Unbelievable. "Over three hours, federal agents demanded identification from the members of two private contractor crews. The crews were among the 400 people including firefighters deployed to fight the wildfire, the largest active blaze in Washington state."

It's a good time to be a hater. Making videos for DREAM has been a lot of fun and I'm genuinely excited to keep doing it.
